Informatics Facility Access

The Informatics system is called xeuser.ivec.org and is accessed via ssh. See the system documentation for more information.

In addition to access via ssh many applications can be accessed by the iVEC grid. The grid interface is intended for end users of software rather than developers. If you have an application which may be suitable for having a grid interface developed, please contact help@ivec.org.

Applying for an account

Students and staff at iVEC Member Institutions are automatically eligible for an account. iVEC is a joint venture between:

• Curtin University of Technology
• Edith Cowan University
• Murdoch University
• The University of Western Australia

iVEC is supported by the Western Australian Government. iVEC is the WA Member of the Australian Research Collaboration Service (ARCS).
