BRL Computer Resources
The CCG manages its own dedicated computing facility. This allows the CCG to provide collaborators with basic IT services such as:
- Web site/application hosting
- Email accounts (IMAP and Web based access)
- Secure shell access to bioinformatics tools
- Over 10TB of tape storage provides daily backups of all systems
- Common login to all systems via LDAP
CCG researchers have access to the iVEC Informatics Facility located within the CCG. The Informatics Facility operates a 512 core linux cluster with 1TB RAM and a 10TB lustre file system running on an infiniband network.
